Weather Station
This is the weather station I made last year (2012) for the science fair. It won second place in the Sacramento Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
The PICAXE 14M2 microcontroller monitors the DS18B20 temperature sensor and both debugs the temperature to the computer and (when the temperature changes) plays a sound with the tone directly coresponding to the old temperature and the current temperature. when you press the button it plays one of four tunes.
